What are "Award Sites! Hall of recognition" Awards?

Award Sites! recently introduced their own award to reward sites who has won a substantial amount of "Rated" awards. All awards programs listed at Awards Sites! were subjected to a strict set of criteria, then rated, indicating the quality of the awards program.

How it works

To achieve any of these awards, you need to collect points from the "select members" rated award categories.(3.5 and higher - with the exception of "Hall of Honor") Each award, for example gold or platinum awards counts 1 point. To achieve their TOP award (Hall of Elite) you need 8 points in Level 5, 16 points in level 4.5, 26 points in 4.0 and 40 points in 3.5. That is a very difficult task indeed!

Inside our own award gallery, we have "scored" all eligible awards according to their points structure (as explained below), and updated the ratings of award programs as they occur. All awards can easily be verified by Award Sites! when we choose to apply for their award. We have summarized all our achieved awards (as above) according to the aforesaid criteria, where you can see the amount of awards we have won and the accumulated points for the Halls.

Point values for AS! Rated Awards:

• Site who offers just 1 award, or awards offered in one program are differently evaluated such as design, commercial, etc counts as one point.
• Site with multi level awards (Such as Gold-Silver-Bronze or similar) are valued as follows:

• Platinum / Gold   = 1 point (1st place Awards)         
• Silver                  = 0.500 points (2nd place Awards)
• Bronze                = 0.333 points (3rd place Awards)
• Merit or Cool      = 0.250 points (4th Place Awards)

• If a Platinum Award is part of the Multi Award program (excludes periodical awards), then Gold would constitute a second place, and so forth.
• You can only get 1 point per awards program, and only the highest award will count towards your score. (i.e.: You have won a Silver award before, and got upgraded to Gold - the Gold is the only award that counts towards your points tally)
