Setting auto redial in Microsoft Dial-Up
Networking

1 : Double click on the "My Computer"
icon. |

the icon by clicking on it one time then press the "ENTER"
or "RETURN" key on your keyboard.) |

2 : Double click on the "Dial-Up Networking"
icon. |

the icon by clicking on it one time then press the "ENTER"
or "RETURN" key on your keyboard.) |

3 : Click one time on the "Train"
icon to select it. Then click one time on "Connections"
and click one time on "Settings..." . |
| The default name for a connection in Dial-Up
Networking is "My Connection" . Most users change
the name to "Train" . If you changed the name to
something other than "Train" you can replace
references to the "Train" icon to "whatever
you named it" icon. |
| Step
4 : Click one time on "Redial" so
that there is a check in the "Redial" box. Enter
the number "99" in the "Before giving up
retry: " box. Click one time on the "OK"
button. |
| In most cases the "Between tries wait:"
should default to 0 mins. 0 secs. If your modem repeatedly misdials,
reports "no dialtone" or seems to develop other problems
when attempting to redial, you may need to increase the amount of
time to wait between redials to 2 or more seconds. |

redial. |
