Licking Senior Citizens Housing is a non-profit 60-unit complex for people 63 years old or older or disabled. The one bedroom, one bathroom apartments are all electric and are furnished with a stove and refrigerator. Washers and dryers are available within the complex. All utilities are included except for electric.

Licking Residential Care - 573-674-2207

Licking Residential Care is not a nursing home. It offers important advantages other living arrangements can't provide. It offers around-the -clock assistance to ladies, gentlemen and couples who need such assistance with their routine activities of living. They offer large private and semi-private rooms with full baths, beauty shop for personal care, large living rooms for socializing, and activities and entertainment, as well as living rooms for reading or watching TV on big-screen televisions. Three delicious, home-cooked meals are planned daily by a registered dietician, as well as modified diets for those with special dietary needs. There is supervised medication distribution and pharmacy deliveries when needed, as well as daily health monitoring of each resident.

National Care Center - Licking Park Manor - 573-674-2111

Licking Park Manor is a 60-bed intermediate care facility. The highly trained, skilled staff can provide whatever level of nursing care or rehabilitation therapy that is needed. They provide a safe, clean environment with a variety of recreational activities, crafts and social programs, beauty/barber shop, private and semi-private rooms, and appealing meals overseen by a dietician. Most importantly, the entire staff is trained to be supportive of resident's feelings of dignity, self-esteem and success in daily activities.

The Licking Bridge Builders Senior Center

The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8:40 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Meals are served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Guests are welcome but must pay an additional cost for their meals. Services available through the center include home delivered meals, blood pressure checks, flu shots, homemaker services, senior fitness and tax counseling. Activities include cards, dominoes, exercise, pool tables, craft and ceramic classes, computers skills classes and internet access. The center has two TV's, one VCR, books, magazines and videos to check out. They also have a monthly activities schedule.

The center, in cooperation with MODOT, also operates a handicap accessible van. Trips can be scheduled for persons needing transportation to the doctor, dentist, bank or grocery store, including neighboring towns such as Houston, Salem, and Rolla. These services are for everyone, regardless of ages.             573-674-3558
