Licking has
elementary, Junior High and High Schools all locates in the City of Licking
and all rated AA. Student to teacher ratios are from 12 to 18. College admissions
counselors note the high quality of Licking graduates. The baseball, basketball,
volleyball and FFA teams have consistently received stat and national recognition
for the last several years. Licking is well known for its enthusiastic support
of academic and sports events.
Vocational-technical School: The Rolla Area Vocational-Technical School provides training for high school students and adults. Specialized training programs are also prepared for local industries upon request/ Veterans of our armed-forces also have access to a special vocational-agriculture program.
College & Universities: University Of Missouri - Rolla, 30 miles. Tanked among top ten engineering universities in the United states. \very active in industrial research. Southwest Baptist University Extended Studies Center - Houston (13 miles) and Salem (24 miles), Graduate and under-graduate courses available.
Fort Leonard Wood Branch Campuses: Ft. Leonard Wood. Drury College and other colleges offer fully accredited degrees at the Truman Education Center (35 miles).
